Coaching crew of Prince Kazeem Eletu Football Academy have expressed satisfaction with the performance of the players after 9-1 victory over Bright Future Academy of Ajegunle in a friendly match played over the weekend at Campos Sports centre, Lagos Island.
Prince Kazeem Football Academy are still maintaining their unbeaten record having played some matches without defeat.
Bright Future Academy would not forget their embarrassing defeat suffered in the hands of Prince Kazeem Eletu Academy in hurry as team coach, Onozimare Stanley confessed that their defeat was a rude shock to him and admitted that there are more works to do on the team to avoid another embarrassment results in the nearest future.
“Let me take the responsibility of this embarrassing defeat. My players also shared the part of the blame too because they did not play to instruction and gave their opponents too much respect which affected their performance. It was scandalous defeat no doubt but I would go back home and work on the grey areas of the team,” he said.
Ramond Oboh shined in the game as he scored hattrick, while Kareem Ajenifuja scored brace in an encounter watched by appreciable crowd.
The likes of Azeez Agboola,Muiz Owolabi and Precious Ogunyase got one goal each to make it nine goal thriller.
Technical Director of Prince Kazeem Eletu FC, Alex Coppolani who delighted about the team’s performance said the friendly indicated that the academy are getting better in each match, While chief coach of academy, Coach Gilles Hugon congratulated the club management for the victory saying that the young lads were technically better against their opponents.
“We played good football and our players improve everyday. Our match against Bright Future Academy showed that we have better players and they have potential to go far in their football career. The result is not what we are looking at but the determination, cohesion and teamwork among the players in the academy gave us a victory in all our matches,” he said.
Coach Wale Oris who is a member of coaching crew commended his players for job well done saying that the academy are ready to face any team in Lagos.
He described the defeat as a warning signal to any academy who wants to play with them in the nearest future.
