Chairman of Eletu Football Queens, Prince Kazeem Eletu has promised that his girls would soon embark on a European tour as a way of exposing the players and equipping them ahead o future challenges.
Eletu said this after he received Eletu Queens following their promotion ticket from NWFL nationwide to cthehampionship.
Eletu Queens lost 1-0 to Lakeside Queens in the final of the NWFL Nationwide league played recently at Edo. The Eletu Queens are among the four clubs that were promoted from nationwide league to championship.
Addressing the players in his house, the club chairman ably represented by the team manager, Muftau Eletu said the management and entire staff are happy about the team’s qualification and urged the players to be rest assured that very soon, they would embark on European tour to prepare and equip them for the task ahead.
“Let me officially welcome you back home and congratulate you for your qualification for the championship in Edo state. We are glad to receive your news of qualification and the management has deemed it fit to reciprocate in its own little capacity.
“At this juncture, we promise that very soon, the team would soon embark on a European tour, We are looking to start by taking our best legs to Europe a and later, we would look at how we can take entire team to embark on the trip. Congratulation once again for the job well done,” he said.
Eletu popularly known as Junior by his admirers said aside from the European tour, the management has resolved to give the team a 16-seater bus and ensure that all the needed items for their training session would be adequately provided.
In his response, Eletu Queens, Damilare Jaiyeola thanked the club chairman for his kind gesture and promised that his girls would be more committed to ensuring that the club records more achievements before the year runs out.
