The chairman of Eletu Football Club of Lagos, Prince Kazeem Eletu-Odibo has reminded his players that he is kneen and ready to support talented players among them who want to start their football career outside the country.

The sport loving administrator disclosed this when he received two former Eletu players who are plying their trade outside the country.

The two players who paid thanks visit to the club boss are Goalkeeper, Shaibu Sulaiman who is currently plying his trade with TP Mazembe of Congo Democratic Republic and Edidong Ekong who plays for Amal Ozan in Moroccan second division.

Kazeem Eletu-Odibo in a chat with sports 247.ng after receiving player’s jersies disclosed that many talented players from the club are currently playing within Africa and outside Africa
“I am happy for presenting your club jersies to me.This is to tell you that what we are doing in Eletu academy is to make the players achieve their dreams.Like I always said,I would continue to support good players who want to take their football to the next level,”he said.

Eletu-Odibo revealed that no fewer than six players moved abroad from the club last year while others signed for European clubs at the end of the just concluded season.

While admonishing the players to continue to be good ambassadors of the country in their various clubs, Prince Kazeem Eletu-Odibo stated that more players are expected to secure professional contracts with foreign clubs soonest.

The football club which currently on break will resume for the 2022/2023 season next month starting with tryouts for new recruits.
