Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Eletu Queens Football Club, Prince Kazeem Eletu has congratulated his girls for securing a place in the Nigerian Women League Championship.
Eletu Queens gained promotion to the championship alongside three clubs after their impressive performance at the just concluded Nationwide league held in Edo State..
In a press release signed by team manager of Prince Kazeem Eletu FC, Muftau Eletu described the promotion well deserved and commended the girls as well as COACHing crew for the job well done.
The club chairman in a statement thanked the girls for their resilience, determination and doggedness exhibited showed throughout the Nationwide League. He said the players gave everything to secure the ticket and promised to give them necessary support to excel in their championship campaign.
“This is another laudable achievement in Eletu family. Our boys are doing well in their friendlies and our girls just got the promotion to the championship. We need to celebrate them when they come back home because they toiled for the ticket,” the statement reads.
The club chairman further said Eletu Queens is a well-known club in Nigeria and promised to do everything to ensure that the club excel in the championship next season.
In his response, Eletu Queens COACH, Damilare Jaiyeola expressed gratitude to the club chairman for his kind gesture and promised to do well in the championship.
