Prince Kazeem Eletu Football Club are among the clubs in Lagos that ended the outgoing year with victory after they shocked Bethel International Football Club 1-0 in a recent friendly match played at Agege Stadium, Lagos.
Prince Kazeem Eletu FC have engaged in many friendly matches recently in preparation for Morocco invitational tournament scheduled for next year January.
Bethel player, Emmanuel Chukuma own goal was all Prince Kazeem Eletu FC needed to win the friendly match watched by scanty fans. The second half witnessed both team missed scoring chances to end the encounter with a lone goal.
Technical Director of Prince Kazeem Eletu FC, Alex Coppolani expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the game but noted that both teams played good football throughout the encounter.
“Our opponents gave us a good fight but I am happy that we ensure that they did not get the equalizer after the own goal.
“The players played to coach instruction and we got a good result at the end of the encounter. We have played our last friendly match for this year and we will go on break and resume early January to continue our preparation for Morocco tourney,” he said.
