Head coach of Prince Kazeem Eletu Football U-15 Academy, Orisunmibare Wale has boasted that his team deserved to beat Soccer City FC 2-0 in a friendly match played early today at Agege Stadium, Lagos.
Both teams locked horn in a friendly match watched by scanty crowd as the two teams entertained fans with their football artistry.
The dark skinned coach who commended his players for living up to expectations said that the friendly match was organized to bring the best out of his players.
“It was not a bad match for us because my boys played to instructions and they got the goals in the second half of the game. It was a good match for us and I must commend our opponents for giving us a good fight. Our victory was well deserved because my players played with determination and doggedness, “he said.
The encounter did not produce a goal in th first half as both missed begging chances created. The second half was a completely different ball game as Prince Kazeem Eletu Academy dictated the pace. They were in control of the midfield, caged Soccer City to look ordinary on the pitch.
Their effort was rewarded in the 58th minutes when Raymond Oboh opened the goal scoring. The goal spurred the Prince Kazeem Eletu Academy to pile pressure on their opponents as Segun Oladimeji fired a shot in the 76th minutes to confirm their superiority over Soccer City.
